Player Profile – Morgan Hoffmann

Raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey, Morgan Hoffmann won two consecutive New Jersey State Championships before attending Oklahoma State University for two years, where he played on the golf team. His stellar amateur career included earning the number one spot in the World Amateur Golf Ranking in 2009 and playing as a member of the 2009 Walker Cup team. After competing in the 2010 U.S. Open, Hoffmann decided to leave college early in order to turn professional. He qualified for his first professional major at the 2012 U.S. Open, where he finished tied for 29th place.

Hoffmann became a Birdies for the Brave player supporter after hosting a golf clinic on behalf of Birdies for the Brave at U.S. Army Picatinny Arsenal during The Barclays in 2014. Hoffmann went on to make the cut for the next two tournaments, earning a spot at the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola.
